Following the publication of European Commission regulation no. 601/2012 of 21 June 2012 on the monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and and of the Council, Teréga provides customers who are connected to its natural gas Transport Grid with an operational guide, developed in conjunction with GRTgaz, to help them determine their CO2 emissions. This guide will enable connected customers to declare their CO2 emissions based on data provided by Teréga, using a standard calculation-based method.
Teréga provides files with example calculations based on the data supplied by Teréga, for information and guidance only.
Since the monitoring plan is the connected customer's responsibility, the customer must check the accuracy of the calculations using these files as a guide.
